The website has changed to a new message board which I hope most of you
like. Some don't, but then I had a lot of complaints about the old board, too.
Also, very soon the website will move to a new host. It offers a lot more
storage space (we were just about to run out of room on the old one). Plus, our
traffic has grown beyond the limits that our previous host allowed. So, if
you've been getting the "temporarily unavailable" message, you've seen the
problem. Unfortunately, the new host does place ads on the web pages. We're
still looking around, though...
This coming week will see the debut of a new TV episode related to the Manson
case. "What Happened After...?" will air on The History Channel on Wednesday,
Thursday and Sunday. The description is:
"In 1969, Charles Manson and his band of fanatic followers committed seven
savage murders during two nights of terror in Los Angeles. In a comprehensive
examination of the post-crime lives of the killers, victims' families, the
lawyers, and former members of Manson's clan, we visit with Alice LaBianca,
whose former husband Leno was butchered; Debbie Tate, Sharon Tate's younger
sister; Paul Van Houten, whose daughter helped kill LaBianca; and Barbara Hoyt,
who became a witness for the prosecution."
The "What Happened After..." show has several other unrelated episodes including
the Robert Kennedy assassination. According to the book "The Family", Sharon
and Roman had dinner with RFK shortly before the shooting.
