Sears Store

On August 8, 1969, Mary Brunner and Sandra Good were arrested at the Sears store at 1030 Celis Street in San Fernando.  Charles Manson had reportedly given them a credit card and told them to purchase some items.  Around 4:00 PM, store employees discovered the card was stolen and stopped the girls as they were driving away.  They were driving the same 1952 Ford van that Manson had been ticketed in the previous day.
