Randy Starr was a Spahn Movie Ranch hand and movie stuntman.  He was set to testify that the Cielo rope was like one he'd seen Manson with.  He was also supposed to testify to having traded the Cielo murder gun to Manson.  Unfortunately, he died of an ear infection before his court appearance.
